Celsius One glass was the founding member of the Celsius Performance Glass range back in the early 2000’s. Being ahead of its time in both aesthetics and statistical performance, Celsius One glass became renowned and popular in conservatory and orangery roofs up and down the United Kingdom. It’s goal was simple: to be a roof glass product that could simultaneously withstand the regular frosty barrage of the British Winter season whilst also standing up to the sometimes sweltering heat of Summer – a problem that, at the time, glass technology was struggling to conquer. Thus, the first true glass for all seasons was born.
Fast forward to the modern day, and Celsius One glass has graduated to more modern roof applications, such as lantern roofs, flat roofs and skylights. Being one of the highest performing high performance glass’ out there these days, Celsius One glass has adapted to this transition like a duck to water. Since the early days, Celsius One has grown and matured in every statistical area, now boating a heat reflection of 83% – keeping the sun at bay in the Summer, a U-value of 1.0 – keeping the cold at arm’s length in the Winter, and a light transmission and UV protection of 38% and 94% respectively – reducing glare and damage to your furnishings, whilst keeping your space light and airy. A true high performance glass.
But Celsius One glass is not finished there. Looking to the future, there will be more improvements to come, as high performance glass technology evolves and more and more ingenious solutions to insulation and solar gain become available. At Celsius Performance Glass, we will always be looking for the next available upgrade to our products, maintaining their position at the top of the UK market, and at the forefront of modern glazing technology.
